This Japanese apple has American roots. It's a cross between Red Delicious and Ralls Janet, an antique apple that dates back to Thomas Jefferson. Tohoku apples, as they're known in Japan, were first grown in 1939. Introduced in this country and renamed Fuji in the early 1960s, they quickly became a favorite of apple lovers.
A good Fuji is consistently juicy-sweet. We've complemented its honey flavor with cinnamon, apple's favorite spice, to create this Meduri exclusive all-natural dried fruit. If you love apples and cinnamon, you absolutely must try these.
